Last Christmas two million people watched a five minute film starring Vinnie Jones, Santa Claus and a 55 ton Chieftan tank.

‘Really funny’ and ‘big global ad’ aren’t words you often hear going together. Nor are ‘Christmas’ and ‘tanks’. But we made it work. And it made people want to play the game - millions more people than usual, in fact.

My role(s)

I was one of two agency leads who managed the three Wargaming franchises (PC, Mobile, Playstation). The concept was created using an agile process, anchored around a five day sprint in Prague. Creatives, production and business people worked face to face in a flow that I co-designed.

I wore the conventional creative director hat, managing the team that scaled up and down according to the needs of the project. And I worked as on-set screenwriting, helping the cast improvise their dialogue in order to build a rich yet weird comic role around the main talent.
