I’m British, but I speak Dutch & French. With a Belgian accent. 

My advertising baptism happened at legendary Belgian agency Duval Guillaume. So aside from the accent, I also picked up on the importance of universal human insights and a dash of humour to making brands successful.

I’ve led sprints in the US, Latin America, the Middle East and Europe. For teams of all sizes and products of all kinds. I learned to switch off all the firewalls between creative and commercial talents. Let the director and the client sit together. Ask Brian from Wisconsin or Flora from Buenos Aires what they think. Don’t solely rely on ad people for cultural advice. Especially if they look like you. Bringing diverse outsiders into the heart of the process leads to ideas you never would’ve had the old way. And it’s way more fun.

I write a lot more than just copy

I also work as a screenwriter - with three comedy scripts completed, including one that is now in pre-production. And I help games studios with their narrative design.
